Panopto is a lecture capture video platform that allows for the simultaneous capture of audio, video and software applications (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint) that faculty, staff and students can then edit and share. Panopto includes interactive video features like notes, bookmarks and quizzes, with video captioning. Panopto is useful in providing distance learning and flipped learning, aiding knowledge recall, and helping students with additional accessibility and learning needs. The recordings can be shared and viewed in Brightspace, directly in Panopto or via the Panopto mobile app.

How can I delete local files after I record with Panopto for Windows?
Panopto for Windows includes a setting that deletes local files after they have been uploaded. To access this setting, open the Panopto for Windows application and select the Settings tab at the top. Select the second button down that says Delete recordings once they are uploaded, and select Save to save your setting. When this setting is enabled, Panopto will delete your local recording files 48 hours after they have successfully been uploaded to your Panopto folder.
