at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Times Showcases College's Global Reach
Fall 2024 issue highlights international students enrolled at at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ
The newest issue of at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Times shows how Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ (at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ®) is a local college that remains focused on serving Northeast Ohio but whose impact isn't limited to this region.
This semester, 250 students from 49 foreign countries are enrolled at at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, and this issue captures some of their stories. Each one came to the U.S. — and to at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ — to pursue a dream and found the support to navigate their new environment.
- Read about the 2024 Presidential Scholarship Luncheon, held in September, which featured entrepreneur and TV personality Daymond John, the founder, president and CEO of apparel company FUBU and widely known for his role as an investor on ABC's Shark Tank.
- Meet at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ alumnus Martell Jackson, who used his time at at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ to explore different careers before ultimately entering the medical research field.
- Learn about Matthew Crowley, an assistant professor of information technology who actively encourages his students to take advantage of at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ's many educational opportunities to find their passion.
